High School Marketing
Marketing prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, entrepreneurship, and hospitality and at the high school level. Students enrolled in Marketing have the opportunity to learn, participate and gain insight that enhances their preparation for college and careers. By providing curricular programs that assimilates into classroom instruction: applying learning in the context of business, connecting to business and the community and promoting competition- our students leverage their marketing experience to become academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, and experienced leaders. Coupled with Marketing is Career and Technology Education, (CO-OP) where students can begin building their real work knowledge; working part-time and going to school part-time, earning high school credits for job experience. Marketing students also have the opportunity to participate in Business Professionals of America, an academic avenue for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields to gain an insight into their profession of choice through a customized school program.
